Route Kanal[edit]

From Wiktionary: kànāl m (Cyrillic spelling ка̀на̄л)

   canal
   channel

It is of Croatian/Slovenian vocabulary, so could this be a reference to where you are at the time? Since this is only speculation, it's not going into the article just yet, but I'd like some conformation on this.

"A Red Letter Day" is missing[edit]

As the headline says, "A Red Letter Day" is indeed missing from this list of chapters. Is there a reason for this? If not, and if I have some time later, I might begin constructing it myself; don't let that deter you from adding something, though. - Fatt Daddy Inc. Talk! 04:18, 21 January 2012 (UTC)

Change on Point Insertion (Mysterious difference in GMOD and not HL2, add this to TCRF)[edit]

GMOD shows the bodygroup Handle 01 has Door 01 left 01 reference up to 03 reference (the one it uses). I believe this is Episodic content. Not seen in older versions: https://youtu.be/jElU1mD8JnI?t=176

I went to check this in HL2 and mysteriously, it's not there, even though it'd make complete sense for there to be a keypad. So does GMOD accidentally have a more updated version of HL2 or is it some replacement from the Episodes? Keep in mind, the door doesn't even have a handle. There's always a Combine door lock near it and Barney doesn't even open it through a keypad but instead the Combine locker turning green. There's an empty category so it makes no sense for why the door would be handle 3.

It doesn't even show when you play it in the Episodes, so I guess this lock is some mysterious third one that was meant to be empty and GMOD changed the order, but is a very lucky coincidence.

I guess I'm the GMOD guy here.

The keypad bodygroup was added in Episode One, for the doors in the Underground sections that stay locked until a power box connected to them is engaged. It being affected by playing through GMod most likely is the same thing as trying to play HL2 through Source SDK 2013 (which prioritises Episodic files over the original), in other words it's a side effect of the ways content is mounted and isn't noteworthy. There was nothing 'meant to be' here, really, just technical mishaps. Cvoxalury (talk) 05:23, 6 October 2026 (UTC)
