The Harpoon is a weapon cut from Half-Life 2. It is carried in Half-Life 2: Lost Coast by the Fisherman, but he never uses it.
[edit] Overview
- The harpoon can be picked up by the player and thrown with the Gravity Gun; it will stick itself and pin enemies into walls like the crossbow's rebar. Although it has an entity, "
weapon_oldmanharpoon", it cannot be spawned and used as a real weapon.
- If one enters the entity in the console, the MP7 will disappear and its image will be replaced with the cut MP5K (similar to what happens when spawning a food package). The SMG1 will become unusable and the harpoon will be nowhere to be seen. If one picks up another SMG afterward, it will go back to normal.
