Keypad
The Keypad[1] is a device used by the Resistance to lock certain entrances, exits, gates, or storages.

Overview[edit]
The device features a set of buttons with 123-keys at the top and a light-green display that shows an "#ACCESS#" message if the entered password is correct, and an "#ERROR#" message if it is not. When used by Gordon, it always displays the error message.
Behind the scenes[edit]
Since the entered code depends on the character's animation, the same combination is used in many places. For most of the NPCs, it is "153". For Isaac Kleiner it appears to be "222", for MIRT - "857", and for Arne Magnusson - "554".
